Fire at Public Works Storage Facility

A late night fire broke out at the Public Works storage garage at 200 Shady Lane on January 31, 2011 and damaged equipment and the building. It was discovered at 2 AM. The fire was limited to a storage garage and a pole barn structure. Equipment losses include: two tractors, two z-turn lawn mowers, a utility vehicle, a large pump, and a number of other small equipment items as well as significant damage to the building.
