On Tuesday, October 12 at the regular meeting of City Council three new Council members were sworn in. Richard Lee Outen, Jr., Darlene "Dotie" Kerr, and Edwin Cowell took their oath of office and assumed their seats for four year terms. The three were elected on October 4. Mr. Outen was elected President and Ms. Kerr was elected Treasurer in the Council reorganization. Much thanks was offered to outgoing Council Members President Greg Olinde (8 years service), Ted Lokey (14 1/2 years service) and Rich Tull (4 years service). Remaining on the Council are Raymond Carey and Gloria Ortiz.
