I would like to thank you and your agency for assisting members of the Wicomico Child Advocacy Center on 9/30110 with the execution of a Search and Seizure warrant at 302 Poplar Street in Fruitland. Specifically, we were assisted by Sgt Shockley, Cpl Swafford, Detective Beaver, and Jerome Will. During the execution it began to poor rain, and your personnel got very wet. However, they stayed and offered their assistance, and did not complain one bit. They were very professional and did not hesitate to assist us. Cpl Swafford and Sgt Shockley were able to make contact with an employee of the apartment complex and obtain a key to the apartment we were searching, which was very helpful. It is this type of agency cooperation that we continue to need in Wicomico County. We at the Child Advocacy Center thank you and your Officers for their assistance in this matter.

Man injured in Salisbury Shooting
SALISBURY -- Three suspects are in custody in connection with a shooting early Sunday morning on Olivia Street that sent a man to hospital with a gunshot injury, the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation said.
Police said Tyronne Greene was walking along the 700 block of Olivia Street at about 1:30 a.m. when a vehicle approached him and multiple shots were fired from the vehicle, one of which hit Greene in the thigh.
Greene was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Police said the suspect vehicle was located by officers from the Fruitland Police Department, and three men in the car were being charged with attempted murder and related charges.
Those charged are Breon Lamar Ayers, 21, Tyquon Demetrius Robins, 18, and Ronrecus Lestie Strand, 21, all of Nelsonia, Va.
